Toast with Feta Cheese

Quickly cooked hot sandwiches with feta cheese, fresh cucumber and herbs can be a good breakfast or a complete snack in this era of time pressure.

Ingredients

  • Toast bread – 4 slices
  • Bryndza – 100 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Fresh cucumber – 1 pc.
  • Green onions – 3-4 pcs. (depends on the length of the pen)
  • Fresh dill – 1/2 small bunch
  • Vegetable oil – 40 ml
  • Dry spicy herbs – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare products for hot sandwiches (toasts) with feta cheese.
  2. Cut bread slices diagonally.
  3. Fry slices of bread in hot oil (they should brown slightly).
  4. Put the toasts on a napkin to remove excess fat.
  5. Mash the cheese with a fork.
  6. Finely chop the cucumber.
  7. Chop the onion into small rings.
  8. Separate the dill from the tough central branches and chop.
  9. Fold the cucumber and herbs in a bowl with feta cheese, mix.
  10. Add an egg and dry herbs to taste here.
  11. Cover each toast triangle with a cheese spread.
  12. Put prepared hot sandwiches on a baking sheet.
  13. Hold the toast at 180 degrees in a preheated oven under the grill for 5 minutes (a raw egg should be cooked).
  14. Serve hot sandwiches with feta cheese, cucumber and herbs immediately.
  15. And hot toasts with feta cheese are very tasty with fresh tomato.
