Toast with Omelet and Red Fish

Delicious crispy toast with scrambled eggs and lightly salted trout is a great option for breakfast or a quick snack. There is a minimum of ingredients, cooking will take no more than 15 minutes, and the dish turns out to be nutritious, satisfying, colorful, and tasty. Try this recipe for toast and your loved ones will certainly appreciate your efforts!

Ingredients

  • White loaf – 2 slices
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Milk – 2 tbsp
  • Lightly salted trout – 2-4 slices (25-50 g)
  • Butter – 10 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh greens (for decoration) – 1 sprig

Directions

  1. Melt half of the butter (5 g) in a skillet over medium heat. Place the slices of bread in a skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until the bread is browned.
  2. Then turn the bread over to the other side and fry for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.
  3. Make an omelet. Combine eggs with milk and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
  4. Preheat a skillet over low heat and melt the remaining butter. Pour the egg and milk mixture into the pan and, stirring occasionally, fry the omelet for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. When the omelet is almost done, add a little salt to taste. Stir everything again and turn off the heat. At this stage, the omelet mass will be slightly damp, but after 30-60 seconds, the omelet will reach full readiness due to the residual heat of the pan.
  6. Divide the omelet in half and place over the toast.
  7. Top each toast with an omelet with 1-2 slices of slightly salted trout.
  8. Toasts with omelets and red fish are ready. Sprinkle the finished toast with a pinch of finely chopped fresh herbs if desired and serve.
