Ingredients

  • 1 steak (s) (tomahawk steak), approx. 5 cm thick
  • oil
  • Sea salt, coarse or flaky salt

Instructions

  1. The steak should be at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 90 ° C (top / bottom heat). Rub the meat with oil, salt and pepper.
  2. Put some oil on a baking sheet, place the steak on top and cook on the middle rack for 90 minutes, then it`s medium (palm test thumb / middle finger). Halfway through the time, I turned it over once.
  3. Take out and carefully scrape off the spices. Heat a pan with oil and sear the meat on each side for 1.5-2 minutes.
  4. The steak is tender as butter and the best I`ve ever tasted. A salad was enough for us as a side dish. With more side dishes (french fries, vegetables, etc.) it is easily enough for 3 - 4 people.
