Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 cup tomato sauce with bits
  • 0.5 ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon basil, dried
  • 0.5 ½ cube vegetable stock cubes
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • some butter

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the basmati rice and let it turn to glass. Pour on the tomato sauce and water.
  2. Season with salt, sugar, basil and the stock cube and simmer on the lowest heat until the water is soaked up. Turn down the temperature and let the rice evaporate.
