Ingredients

  • 1 cup couscous
  • 1 can tomato (s), chopped
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 onion (s)
  • some olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs (e.g. rosemary, thyme)
  • 150 ml water, approx.

Instructions

  1. Pour the pizza tomatoes through a sieve and collect the juice. Strain the tomato juice with about 150 ml of water and bring to the boil. Simmer the couscous in it for about 5 minutes, then let it steep for another 5 minutes.
  2. Fry the onions in olive oil, then add the broccoli. After about 5 minutes, add the drained tomatoes to the pan and cook the broccoli in it. If necessary, add a little more water.
  3. When the broccoli is done, add the couscous and season with salt, pepper and the herbs. The dish can be served straight away or seared a little more as you like.
