Instructions

  1. Peel the onion, dice it finely and sauté in a pan in hot olive oil until translucent. Clean the mushrooms, quarter or sixth (depending on size) and also fry them. Season with salt and pepper. Possibly add more oil when frying the mushrooms. Pour the cream over it and let it simmer for 10 minutes on a low heat. Cut the ham into strips or cubes and add. Let the ham simmer for another 5 minutes. If the sauce is still too thin, thicken it with a light sauce thickener (depending on how thick you want the sauce).
  2. Prepare the tortellini according to the instructions on the packet.
  3. Arrange the tortellini on plates and pour the sauce over them.
  4. Tip: If you like, you can add freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
