Ingredients

  • 800 g tortellini

For the sauce:

  • 1 small onion (s), finely diced
  • 125 g bacon (Katenspeck), smoked, diced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), medium hot, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 100 ml water
  • 250 g spinach, frozen
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 400 ml processed cheese

Instructions

  1. Fry the onion and bacon cubes in hot oil until translucent. Add the chilli pepper and garlic and fry briefly. Now add 100 ml of water and the spinach and simmer until the spinach is ready. Add the cream and the processed cheese and simmer everything. As soon as the processed cheese has melted completely, simmer everything for about 1 minute.
  2. In the meantime, cook the tortellini until al dente according to the instructions on the packet and drain through a sieve.
  3. Spread the tortellini on plates and pour the sauce over them. Serve immediately.
