  • 8 slices toast
  • 4 slices sausage, cervelatwurst
  • 4 slices cheese, young Gouda cheese
  • 4 slices turkey breast or chicken breast
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • remoulade

Instructions

  1. Cut off a few leaves from the iceberg lettuce and cut out the thick veins.
  2. Brush four slices of toast with butter, four with tartar sauce.
  3. Cover the buttered with iceberg lettuce, then a slice of Cervelatwurst. Spread a thin layer of tartar sauce on top and place the cheese on top.
  4. Then a little iceberg lettuce on top of which the slice of turkey breast or chicken breast is placed.
  5. Finally, put another slice of iceberg lettuce on top and cover with the toasted bread slice coated with tartar sauce.
  6. It is best to cut this in halves or even quarters. Press something down so that it sticks together better when eating.
  7. It is very tasty for when you are hungry in between meals or as an appetizer at a party or for a TV evening.
  8. Can also be refined with cucumber or tomatoes or a little mustard.
  9. It is also delicious if you coat the bread slices with cream cheese and / or pesto instead of butter / tartar sauce.
