Ingredients

  • 1 trout (s)
  • Flour
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs, fresh (e.g. rosemary, thyme) as desired
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon plant cream, for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash the trout, if necessary cut off the head and tail, and then put the fresh herbs in the stomach. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper to the abdomen and season with salt and pepper on the outside and then turn the trout in flour.
  2. In the meantime, heat the fat in a pan and add the trout. Fry them nicely on all sides so that the flour gets some color (takes about 5 minutes in total). Then wrap the trout in aluminum foil and place in the oven at 180 °. Bake there for another 15-20 minutes.
