Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 can tuna
  • 2 tablespoon corn kernels, from the can
  • 0.5 ½ bell pepper (s), red
  • 1 spring onion (s)
  • 1 squirt lemon juice
  • 2 slices cheese (Emmentaler), thick
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices and in the meantime drain the tuna and corn. Then pick the tuna with a fork.
  2. Wash and finely dice the bell pepper and spring onion or cut into thin rings.
  3. Mix the tuna, corn, bell pepper, spring onion and mayonnaise together. Season with a little lemon juice. Divide the tuna mixture on 2 slices of bread.
  4. Place a slice of Emmentaler cheese on top and bake under the grill, in the oven or in the microwave until the cheese has melted. Place the other 2 bread slices on top as a lid and cut everything once diagonally.
  5. Also works great with toast or bread rolls. Best served hot.
  6. Sandwich can also be quartered and served as finger food at the party with a toothpick in it.
