Ingredients

  • 5 egg (s)
  • 200 g suar
  • 150 g flour (instant flour)
  • 100 g almond (s), sliced
  • 600 g cream
  • 1 packet cream powder (Galetta vanilla)
  • Butter and flour for the mold
  • possibly sugar, brown

Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs, beat the egg yolks with sugar until frothy, add instant flour, stir everything together and carefully fold in the whipped egg whites. Pour the dough into a buttered, floured springform pan and smooth it out. Sprinkle flaked almonds over the dough, sprinkle with a little brown sugar if necessary. Bake in a preheated oven (fan oven) at 175 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.
  2. Then remove the cake from the springform pan and let it cool down. Halve diagonally (ideally with a piece of string, it`s child`s play - put string around the cake and finally cross the ends and separate the cake by pulling).
  3. Whip the cream with Galetta until stiff and spread it on the bottom. Put the top part on top.
