Ingredients

  • 600 g turkey breast
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 bell pepper (s), yellow
  • 1 green pepper (s)
  • 1 medium zucchini
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 200 g sheep cheese
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 100 ml chicken broth
  • 150 ml Metaxa
  • salt and pepper
  • Cheese, grated, e.g. Gouda

Instructions

  1. Cut the turkey breast into 4 equal pieces, season with salt and pepper and place in a baking dish
  2. Dice the bell pepper, slice the zucchini, cut the onion into rings and finely dice the garlic. Spread everything over the meat and crumble the sheep cheese over it.
  3. Mix the crème fraîche, cream, tomato paste, metaxa and chicken stock. Season with salt and pepper and pour over the meat.
  4. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place in the oven for approx. 40 minutes at 200 ° C. Then remove the foil, spread the Gouda over it and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
  5. Rice goes best with it.
