Ingredients

  • 750 g turkey breast
  • 3 bell peppers, red, green, yellow
  • 1 thick onion (s), diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 350 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tube tomato paste
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 200 ml cream
  • some salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons, heaped paprika powder, noble sweet or hot pink
  • 2 teaspoon, heaped sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (herb vinegar)

Instructions

  1. Dice the turkey breast and fry well in 2 tablespoons of olive oil in the pan. Put in an ovenproof dish, cover and keep warm in the oven.
  2. Then fry the peppers cut into large cubes in the pan and layer them on the meat. Keep warm.
  3. Then fry the onion and garlic cubes in the same pan with 2 more tablespoons of olive oil, fry the tomato paste briefly and then add the broth. Add the cream and mix well with the hand blender until you have a smooth sauce. Season with salt, pepper and sweet paprika powder (if you like it a little more spicy, you can also use hot paprika). Season to taste with vinegar and sugar.
  4. Then pour the sauce over the meat and paprika and let it steep for about 15 minutes in the oven at a maximum of 100 ° C. Rice goes very well with this.
