Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion (s), finely diced
  • 1 clove garlic, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 packet tomato puree
  • some water
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Herbs, Italian to taste
  • 4 turkey schnitzel
  • 2 onion (s), cut into thin rings
  • 100 g cheese
  • Oil, for the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pot. Sauté the onion and garlic. Add tomato paste and sauté briefly. Deglaze with a little water and pour in the tomato puree. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, herbs and salt and cover and simmer the sauce over a low heat for about 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees circulating air / 200 degrees top / bottom heat.
  3. Rub the baking dish with oil.
  4. Season the tomato sauce again and season again if necessary.
  5. Put the turkey escalope unseasoned in the baking dish, spread the onions over it and pour the sauce over it. Sprinkle with cheese and cook for about 30 minutes.
  6. Serve with pasta, rice or ciabatta bread and a large bowl of crispy salad.
  7. It goes quickly and tastes great even when it is reheated.
