Ingredients

  • 2 piece (s) turkey meat, fillet a 00 g
  • 20 g clarified butter, as required
  • 2 spring onion (s)
  • 1 pack puff pastry, fresh from the refrigerated shelf
  • 200 g cheese, white cow cheese, formerly oat cheese in brine
  • 4 tablespoon sweet cream
  • 2 bell peppers, roasted, sweet and sour a. d. Glass or fresh (1 pc.)
  • 2 tablespoon thyme, fresh leaves, or 1 dried
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Salt and pepper as needed

Instructions

  1. Season the turkey fillets with salt and pepper and fry in clarified butter.
  2. Cut the spring onions into very small rings, remove the peppers from the glass, drain them and also cut into small cubes. Put both in the pan and fry briefly.
  3. Mash the white cheese very finely and mix with 3 tablespoons of sweet cream. Add the thyme and the spring onions and the paprika from the pan and spread the mixture on the rolled out puff pastry. Then place the turkey fillets on top and roll the puff pastry with the cheese mixture over it and press firmly on the side, leaving a 1-2 cm edge. Put the whole thing on a baking tray lined with baking paper and then spread the mixture with the egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of sweet cream.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes at 180 ° C until golden yellow. Unscrew the oven and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Cut into slices and serve on vegetables, like green beans with peppers (described in my profile, in DB).
  6. This dish can be eaten and served warm or cold.
