Ingredients

  • 800 g beef (prime rib or flat shoulder, e.. from Galloway beef)
  • 4 medium onion (s)
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon herbs, Mediterranean, dried
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 400 g beans, reen broad
  • 2 carrot (s)
  • 0.5 stick ½ leek
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat into cubes, wash the vegetables and cut them into small pieces, cut the garlic into very fine pieces.
  2. Fry the meat in a little oil, add the vegetables except for the beans, add the tomato paste and the spices and simmer gently for about 45 minutes. Then add the chopped beans and let everything cook until the beans are soft enough. This takes about 20 minutes.
  3. Serve with rice or potatoes.
