Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat milk (oat drink)
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ coconut oil
  • 1 cm turmeric root, fresh
  • 1 cm ginger root, fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon powder
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ agave syrup
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper, freshly ground
  • some chilli pepper (s), fresh or dried (optional)

Instructions

  1. First grate the turmeric and ginger very finely in a saucepan. (Warning: fresh turmeric has a very strong yellow color, so it is best to wear gloves!) Then measure and add a cup of oat milk (my cups have a capacity of 250-300 ml). Add coconut oil, cinnamon, agave syrup and pepper. If you like it a little hotter, you can add a few slices of chilli, it warms you up and stimulates your metabolism.
  2. Now slowly heat the mixture on the lowest flame so that the spices can soak through. Stir well with a whisk every now and then. After about 5 minutes, when the mixture is hot and the coconut oil has melted, pour through a sieve into a cup. Enjoy as hot as possible.
