Ingredients

  • 1 turnip (wruke), approx. 500g
  • 2 large potatoes, large
  • 100 ml cream
  • 100 g butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Peel the turnip and potatoes and cut into pieces of the same size. Cook in boiling salted water. Let it steam out well and mash with a potato masher or press.
  2. Bring the cream with the butter to the boil and add to the crushed turnips and potatoes. Mix everything together and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. We also have pan-fried dishes and fish.
