Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 250 g powdered suar
  • 6 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 200 g almond (s), round, unpeeled
  • 125 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 200 g chocolate, whole milk, diced

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with 125 g powdered sugar until frothy. Separate the eggs. Mix in the egg yolk, salt, cinnamon, almonds, flour and baking powder. Beat the egg white until stiff and gradually stir in the remaining 125 g of powdered sugar. Mix the egg whites into the dough. Finally, carefully stir the diced chocolate into the batter. Line a loaf pan with baking paper, pour in the dough and bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack at 200 degrees for 60 minutes. Let the baked cake stand in the switched off oven for another 15 minutes. The cake tastes best when it is 3-4 days old.
