Tzatziki

Tzatziki Recipe (tzatziki) – Preparation of a Greek cold snack sauce made from yogurt, fresh cucumbers and garlic. Most often, the sauce is used as a dip for vegetables and bread.

Ingredients

  • Natural yogurt – 375 Milliliters
  • Fresh cucumbers – 3 Pieces
  • Garlic – 5 Cloves
  • Olive oil – 4 Tbsp. spoons
  • Lemon juice – 4 Tbsp spoons
  • Pepper, salt – – To taste
  • Greens – – To taste

Directions

  1. The ingredients for making tzatziki are readily available to everyone.
  2. Peel and seed the cucumbers, rub on a fine grater. Then the grated cucumbers must be salted and squeezed through cheesecloth.
  3. Chop the garlic, squeeze a little juice from the lemon.
  4. We mix squeezed cucumbers, lemon juice, yogurt, garlic and olive oil. Whisk lightly.
