Unsweetened Manna on Kefir with Melted Cheese

by Editorial Staff

An original and delicious pie made from simple products – unsweetened manna on kefir with melted cheese. Soft, porous, moist manna with a delicate cheese aroma is very easy to prepare and is equally good both hot and cold.

Ingredients

  • Kefir – 300 ml
  • Processed cheese – 90-100 g
  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 100 ml + for lubricating the mold
  • Semolina – 300 g
  • Wheat flour – 130 g
  • Sugar – 30-50 g
  • Soda – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt – 2-3 pinches

Directions

  1. Combine kefir and semolina in a deep bowl (300 g – a little less than two 200 ml glasses). Stir and leave for about an hour to swell the semolina.
  2. After a while, turn on the oven and warm up to a temperature of 220 degrees. Add eggs and sugar to a bowl with swollen semolina. Mix.
  3. Pour in vegetable oil. Stir again.
  4. Pour in flour (130 g – 1 glass with a volume of 200 ml), soda, and salt. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  5. Grate the processed cheese on a fine grater, send to a bowl, and mix. The dough for manna will turn out to be quite liquid, interspersed with melted cheese.
  6. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Pour the dough into a mold and flatten.
  7. Bake the manna in an oven preheated to 220 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Enjoy your tea!
