We are preparing unusual cheese cakes, or curd bars, or rectangular donuts! It is up to you to decide how to name this cottage cheese yummy (there is no other way to say it), but the fact that the recipe is very successful and you will like the result is definitely!
Ingredients
Cottage cheese – 300 g
Flour – 230 g + 2-3 tbsp for molding
Egg – 1 pc.
Sugar – 70 g per dough + 3 tablespoon. sprinkler spoons
Soda – 1 teaspoon
Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil – for frying
Directions
Pour soft curd into a bowl. Beat the egg to the curd, add sugar and vanilla sugar. Grind the cottage cheese with sugar and egg with a fork, trying to break the curd lumps as carefully as possible.
Combine flour with baking soda and mix. Sift flour into a bowl of curd mixture. Knead the dough, which should hold the ball well.
Divide the dough into several pieces. Take one piece of dough and on a floured table or board, form a sausage and cut into pieces about 7-8 cm long. From these pieces form rectangles. Heat the sunflower oil in a skillet. Place the curd rectangles in the pan.
Fry the cottage cheese bars over low heat on all sides (I fried on six sides, and on the sides, and on the ends) until golden brown. Watch the fire so that the bars have time to fry on the inside and do not burn on the outside.
Pour sugar into a bowl. Put the curd bars straight from the pan into a bowl of sugar and roll on all sides. In the meantime, fry the next batch. So many unusual cheesecakes turned out in the end.
