Instructions

  1. Preparation of berry sauce:
  2. Rinse the fresh berries, drain them on kitchen paper and remove the stems. It is best to thaw frozen berries at room temperature or, if you are in a hurry, briefly put them in the microwave.
  3. Put some whole berries aside as decoration. Puree the rest of the berries together with the vanilla sugar. If the berries are not sweet enough, add a little sugar.
  4. Preparation of vanilla quark:
  5. Mix the quark with the milk and vanilla sugar until smooth and season to taste.
  6. Finally, distribute the cream in portion glasses, fill with the berry sauce and garnish with the berries that have been set aside.
  7. If you like, sprinkle some powdered sugar over it and serve it.
  8. Tips and hints:
  9. It can also be stored in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 days.
  10. As an alternative to berries, you can alternate between layers of cream, applesauce, cream, etc. That is also very fine.
  11. A super easy-to-prepare dessert, which can be made quickly in case you get a spontaneous visit or you just feel like something sweet.
