Ingredients

  • 1 packet cream powder, (vanilla mousse powder)
  • Milk / cream as required
  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 200 g ladyfiners
  • 50 ml espresso, cold or strong coffee
  • 50 ml amaretto, or almond syrup diluted with water
  • 300 g raspberries, fresh or frozen, fresh strawberries or a berry mix
  • some powdered sugar, to taste
  • some cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla mousse according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Whip the mascarpone creamy and fold in the mousse, season with a little sugar to taste. Layer the ladyfingers in a casserole dish, soak them with half of the coffee-amaretto mixture (I always don`t take too much so the biscuits don`t become sluggish), distribute half of the berries on top (if you have fresh strawberries, cut the big fruits into small pieces), depending on Dust the taste and acidity of the fruit with powdered sugar, pour half of the cream on top; add another layer as indicated. Put in a cool place.
  3. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
  4. Instead of a coffee and amaretto mix, you can also use an orange juice and orange liqueur mixture.
