  • Veal steaks – 4 pcs. (120 g each)
  • Canned capers (drained) – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic (minced) – 1 clove
  • Dry white wine – 0.5 cups
  • Chicken broth – 0.25 cups
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  • Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 0.25 teaspoon.
  • Vegetable oil

Veal Steaks with Garlic Sauce Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the steaks with salt and pepper on all sides. Place flour in a large plastic bag, place steaks, tie the bag, and shake well.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, brush with vegetable oil. Put the steaks in a preheated pan, fry for about 2 minutes on each side. Transfer steaks to a plate, cover to keep warm.
  3. Pour another 1 tablespoon into the same pan. a spoonful of vegetable oil, put the garlic, fry, stirring, for about 30 seconds. Then add wine, broth, lemon juice, and capers to the pan, bring the mass to a boil, reduce heat, cook, stirring occasionally, for about 3 minutes, until the liquid boils down twice. Add butter to the sauce, stir.
  4. Serve steaks with sauce immediately. Serve spaghetti as a side dish (optional).
