Ingredients

  • 400 g flour
  • 230 g mararine

  • 75 ml water

  • 400 ml apple juice
  • 40 g cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 vanilla pod (s)
  • some fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Mix 250 g flour, 1 pinch of baking powder and 2 tablespoon sugar. Add 150 g margarine and 75 ml water and knead into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in foil and put it in the fridge for 1 hour.
  2. Knead 80 g margarine, 150 g flour, 6 tablespoons sugar, 2 teaspoons cinnamon to sprinkle and put in the fridge.
  3. Peel the apples and cut into small pieces. Chop the walnuts into small pieces. Bring the apple juice to the boil and let the cornstarch, cinnamon and vanilla cook for 1 minute. Remove the apple juice from the stove and add the apples and walnuts.
  4. Roll out the dough in a greased tin and press up one edge of the tin. Spread the apple and nut mixture on the bottom. Pour the cinnamon crumble over it and bake the cake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C top and bottom heat on the lower rack for about 40 minutes.
