Vegetable and Chicken Fillet Canapes

Canapes of vegetables and minced chicken “Tricolor Tower” – a family dish. Family, because even the most capricious child who hates meat and vegetables will definitely try it, you won’t even have to persuade it. And mom and dad will require supplements in advance.

Ingredients

For canapes:

  • Sweet potato (sweet potato) – 1 pc.
  • Zucchini – 1 pc.
  • Teriyaki sauce – 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

For minced meat:

  • Chicken breast (fillet) – 2 pcs.
  • Onions – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Olive oil – 4 tablespoons
  • Bread – 100 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Bread crumbs – 3 tablespoon.
  • Dried tomatoes (sun-dried) – 10 pcs.
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

For decoration:

  • Green onions – 1 feather
  • Teriyaki sauce – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. When choosing zucchini and yams (sweet potatoes), pay attention to the size. It is important that they are approximately the same in diameter. Cut the zucchini into thick slices. We clean the sweet potato. Cut into circles the same thickness as the zucchini circles.
  2. We spread the vegetables on a baking sheet, grease with olive oil – and in the oven, in the “steam” mode, at 96 degrees, for 15-20 minutes. If your oven does not have special modes (steaming, at a low temperature), bake vegetables at normal temperature, but put a bowl of water in the oven.
    While the zucchini and potatoes are being prepared, let’s make the minced meat. Cut the chicken fillet into large cubes.
  3. Crush the garlic. Peel the onion and cut it into quarters. Cut off the crusts from the bread. Chicken fillet, onion, garlic, bread crumb pass through a meat grinder. An unusual addition to minced meat is dried tomatoes. They are also stranded. Add the egg, salt, and pepper, knead. At this time, it is good to remember what you are cooking for your loved ones – so that someday your child will remember and boast: “This is how my mother cooked.”
  4. Minced meat is ready. Pour crackers on a cutting board. We make neat balls from minced meat. The dimensions should match the dia of the zucchini slices. Just don’t forget that the balls after the oven will become a little smaller. We roll our balls in breadcrumbs. Put it on a baking sheet on parchment.
  5. After 10-15 minutes (5 minutes before cooking) after starting to bake vegetables, grease them with teriyaki sauce and put them back in the oven. Are the vegetables ready? Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and put the chicken balls in the oven for 15 minutes.
  6. We collect “tower”. Ground floor – a slice of sweet potatoes. The second is a zucchini circle.
    Small decorative element. In a preheated skillet, evaporate the teriyaki sauce.
  7. Above the tower is a dome of minced chicken. We take a skewer, stick it on top – we connect our tower. We decorate. Cut a green onion feather along. We tie it with a bow on a skewer.
  8. With the steamed teriyaki sauce, draw something beautiful on a plate and layout our canapes.
    A wonderful family meal is ready. It remains to call the child and the husband to the table and put aside several “three-color turrets” for the addition. Enjoy!
