Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread, to taste
  • Butter or cream cheese to smear the bread
  • 2 slices cheese
  • 8 cocktail tomatoes, red
  • 2 cocktail tomatoes, orange / yellow
  • 8 slice / s cucumber (s)
  • 4 stalks chives

Instructions

  1. Cut out or cut out palm-sized circles from the bread slices.
  2. Depending on your taste, put butter or cream cheese and a slice of cheese on each slice (cut out the same shape as the bread).
  3. Now halve the cocktail tomatoes and the cucumber slices.
  4. Half a yellow cocktail tomato is placed on one side of the bread slice as a head, behind each 2 half red cocktail tomatoes (body of the beetle) - head and body should be in the middle of the bread slice at the end. Half a slice of cucumber is placed between the head and body as wings on each side (you can cut a slice in the bread so that the cucumber slice holds better).
  5. Finally, stick 2 stalks of chives of about 5cm in each head as feelers.
