Ingredients

  • 2 liters chicken broth
  • 6 large carrot (s)
  • 4 spring onion (s)
  • 4 large potato (s)
  • 1 small kohlrabi
  • 500 g beef soup meat

Instructions

  1. Heat the broth.
  2. Cut the carrots, kohlrabi and potatoes into bite-sized cubes. Clean the spring onions and cut only the thick stalk into small pieces.
  3. Let the vegetables and beef simmer in the broth for about 30 minutes. Remove the meat and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cook everything together for another 20-30 minutes and let it steep. For this it is not necessary that the stove is still on.
  4. The vegetables can be varied as desired. Turnips or runner beans also taste very good in soup. For my meat-loving husband, I sometimes also add sliced sausage.
