Ingredients

  • 50 g bacon, diced
  • 150 g onion (s), diced
  • 40 g butter
  • 500 g carrot (s)
  • 500 g potato (s)
  • 1.6 liters vegetable stock
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 250 g sweet cream
  • 200 grams bacon
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Steam the bacon cubes with the onion cubes in the fat until translucent. Dice the carrots and potatoes and sauté briefly. Add the stock and bring to the boil. Cook on a low heat for 25 minutes. Add thyme and honey, let simmer for 5 minutes. Add the cream and puree. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Fry the bacon until crispy and serve with it.
