In this recipe, I suggest you prepare a delicious and satisfying vegetable stew from a minimum of ingredients.
Ingredients
White cabbage – 0.5 head of cabbage
Potatoes – 0.7 kg
Carrots – 2 pcs.
Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
Soy sauce (optional) – 3-5 tbsp
Vegetable oil for frying – how much will it take
Water – 100-150 ml
Seasoning for potatoes (optional) – 1 teaspoon.
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste
Directions
Prepare food for vegetable stew. Peel and wash the potatoes, onions, and carrots. Peel the cabbage from the top sheets, wash.
Cut the potatoes and onions into large cubes.
Grate the carrots on a fine grater.
Cut the cabbage into strips.
Fry the potatoes in a preheated pan with vegetable oil for 7-8 minutes, until half cooked. Season with salt, pepper, and optional potato seasoning. Place the potatoes in a saucepan.
Fry the onions in a preheated pan with vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes, until light golden brown.
Add carrots to the onion. Fry more, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes, until the carrots are soft. Add a little salt in the process. Put the onions and carrots with the potatoes in a saucepan.
In a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil, fry the cabbage (covered, stirring occasionally) for 10-12 minutes. Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper if desired.
Place the cabbage with the previously prepared vegetables in a saucepan. Mix everything. Add water, 2-3 tbsp vegetable oil.
Simmer vegetable stew over medium heat, covered, stirring occasionally, for 20-30 minutes.
