Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices. Brush the slices with cream cheese, amount as required. Wash the fig and cut into thin slices. Place the fig slices on the bread, pour some honey over them and sprinkle with rosemary.
  2. Here I have used low carb bread - my best II. You can take cream cheese made from cow or goat milk. Instead of honey, coconut blossom syrup can be used in the low-carb variant. This is said to have a low glycemic index. But it doesn`t matter if you use some honey on a low-carb diet either. As long as it is seldom eaten, that`s okay. With low carb, the daily amount of carbohydrates counts. The figs have 12.9 KH per 100 g.

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
