Ingredients

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 250 g suar, brown
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ salt
  • 2 small egg (s)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 350 g spelled flour
  • 300 g walnuts, chopped, possibly more
  • 1 handful cranberries

Instructions

  1. Mix in the butter, sugar and salt, eggs, baking soda, baking powder and then stir in the spelled flour. Finally, add the chopped walnuts (it can also be more than the specified amount).
  2. Spread blobs of dough on the baking paper (3 baking trays), press apart with a spoon. Press 1 half walnut and 1 cranberry on each biscuit. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. Immediately after baking, the biscuits are very soft, so let them cool down and only then remove them from the baking paper. The cookies are then very crispy.

  4. If someone wants to use regular flour instead of spelled flour, the amount of flour needs to be increased a little. The dough must not be too soft.
