Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas with a fork or chop them with a hand blender. Add oil, sugar, milk and eggs and stir well.
  2. Mix the baking soda, flour, salt, nuts (and raisins) and fold into the banana mixture. Pour into a well-greased loaf pan (30 x 11 x 8). Cover with halved nuts. Bake at 200 degrees (hot air approx. 190 degrees) for 40 minutes (be sure to do a cooking test).
  3. You can also use hazelnuts or almonds instead of walnuts. Instead of milk, water can also be used.
  4. Very tasty with Gouda, honey or jams. But also tastes good without toppings.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
