Ingredients

  • 150 ml milk
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 2 medium egg (s)
  • 130 g butter, soft
  • 150 g walnuts rouhly cut
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat milk and set aside. Caramelize 75 g of sugar in another saucepan, stirring constantly. Take the pan off the stove and carefully pour in the hot milk. Stir well until the sugar and any lumps have dissolved. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, 75 g sugar, salt and vanilla sugar. Add eggs and fat in small pieces. Mix everything with the whisk of the hand mixer. Add the caramel milk. Fold in walnuts.
  3. Place paper baking cases in the recesses of the muffin baking tray. Pour in the batter so that the molds are 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for about 25 minutes. Circulating air: 175 ° C, electric stove: 200 ° C
  5. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
