My initiative to cook something lean was crowned with enchanting success! An analogue of the Wellington beef dish, but with beets. A wonderful holiday dish came out.

Wellington Beets Ingredients

  • Beets – 5-6 Pieces
  • Mushrooms – 150 Grams
  • Frozen dough – 300 grams
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Poppy – 3 Art. spoons
  • Processed cheese – 150 Grams
  • Salt – 1 Pinch

Wellington Beets Instructions

  1.  Fry mushrooms in a frying pan with a pinch of salt until the moisture evaporates.
  2. Combine the cooled fried mushrooms with chopped walnuts.
  3. Place the processed cheese, mushroom filling and boiled small beets on the rolled dough sheet.
  4. Roll the roll and seal the dough well.

  5. Brush the roll with a raw egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake the roll for 35 minutes at 200 degrees.
