Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 50 g butter
  • 300 ml water
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. Put the flour in the bowl of the food processor. Crumble in the yeast, add all the remaining ingredients and knead well with the dough hook. If the dough is still too sticky, add a little flour until the dough separates from the edge of the bowl.
  2. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes. Brush the shape with butter.
  3. Knead the dough again and then pour it into the mold. Then let rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  4. Cut the bread lengthways 0.5 cm with a sharp knife and bake in the oven on the lower rail for 45-50 minutes.
  5. Turn the bread out of the mold and leave it in the switched off oven for a few more minutes. Then place on a wire rack to cool down.
