Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl, then add the whey and knead into a soft dough that no longer sticks, otherwise add a little more flour. Then immediately form 6 rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or a baking rack.
  2. Score the rolls lengthways with a knife or the edge of a spatula and spread a thin layer of water. Put the tray or the grid in the oven preheated to 190 ° C (convection) with a cup of water on the base and bake for about 17 minutes.
  3. Then switch off the oven and let the rolls stand for another 2 minutes. The rolls still taste warm, but also the next day!

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
