Instructions

  1. Put the white beans in a colander and wash off with cold water. Then drain a little.
  2. Peel and halve the onion (possibly quarter, depending on size) and cut into rings. Remove the stalks from the tomatoes and finely dice the tomatoes. Chop the basil.
  3. Mix the beans, onion strips, diced tomatoes, basil and capers. Mix the vinegar, oil, salt and pepper in a bowl and add to the salad. Let it go a little.
  4. A nice snack for two people or for four as a starter.
  5. Ciabatta goes well with this.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
