Ingredients

For the salad:

  • 1 glass white beans, black peas or similar, approx. 400 g
  • 2 bell pepper (s)
  • 2 onion (s), red
  • 1 can tuna in its own juice, approx. 200 g

For the dressing:

  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 ½ tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. Rinse the beans in a colander and drain well. Drain the tuna too. Dice the onions or cut into strips, cut the peppers into bite-sized pieces. Mix all ingredients for the dressing well in a bowl and season well with salt and pepper.
  2. Chop the tuna and mix with the peppers and onions with the dressing. Finally mix in the beans well and let the salad steep. Mix in between and, if necessary, season with salt, pepper and / or balsamic vinegar.
  3. With a little bread, the salad is a main course for 3 - 4 people. It is also good at buffets.
