Ingredients

  • 300 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 medium white cabbage
  • oil
  • 3 onion (s)
  • 3 carrot (s)
  • 6 grains allspice
  • 1 bunch marjoram

Instructions

  1. Cut the cabbage into strips, peel and dice the carrots and onions.
  2. Heat the oil and brown the mince in it. Add onions, carrots and cabbage, mix and let soak for a moment without liquid.
  3. Add the spices and a dash of water. Stir in a tablespoon of syrup to taste. Cover and cook over a mild heat for about an hour. Young cabbage becomes even faster than older. Serve with new potatoes.
  4. As an accompaniment to taste, pureed grapes or red currants.
