  • 1 kg white cabbage
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 250 g rice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Caraway seed

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet and add about 1.5 teaspoons of salt to the cooking water.
  2. Cut the white cabbage into short, relatively fine strips with a knife or a kitchen slicer. Bring some water to the boil in a saucepan. Add the cut white cabbage and cook for 5 minutes so that the cabbage is slightly translucent.
  3. Season the minced meat well with about 1.5 - 2 teaspoons of salt, pepper, caraway seeds and a little nutmeg. Mix the rice, cabbage and meat together well, pour into a baking dish and press firmly. Cover and bake in the oven at 175 degrees for about 1 hour.
