Instructions

  1. Knead the ingredients for the dough together and leave to rest in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
  2. In the meantime, peel and quarter the apples, remove the core, cut into thin slices (cut into eighths and into leaves) and mix with lemon juice, raisins, sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Preheat oven on electricity: 200 ° C, gas 4-5.
  4. Line a springform pan with about 2/3 of the dough (bottom and edge). Roll out the rest of the dough on a floured surface and cut into strips.
  5. Spread the apples on the batter in the mold.
  6. Whisk the eggs with the milk, sugar and custard powder and pour evenly over the apples. Lay the strips of dough over them like a grid.
  7. Bake on the middle rack for 50-60 minutes.
  8. Let cool down in the mold and then transfer to a wire rack to cool down.
  9. This apple pie is originally made with wheat flour, but after trying it with whole wheat flour, it has become the whole family`s favorite!
