Ingredients

For the shortcrust pastry:

  • 220 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 125 g fat

For covering:

  • 11 apples, sour (Boskoop)
  • 750 g cream
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet custard powder (vanilla flavor)

Instructions

  1. Make a shortcrust pastry from flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg and fat and chill it. Then line the base and edge of a springform pan with it and make sure that both are well connected.
  2. Then peel and core the apples. Do not divide! Place the whole apples on the dough (8 all around, 3 in the middle).
  3. Bring the cream, sugar, vanilla sugar and vanilla pudding to the boil and pour the mixture over the whole apples. Bake the cake for about 75 minutes at 200 ° C.
