Yeast Buns “Flowers” with Sausages

Take a look and try to repeat the recipe for delicious homemade flower buns made from yeast dough! The dough is the most tender! The stuffing of the buns is made from your favorite sausages (sausages). The view is amazing, the taste is wonderful! Great sausage buns for breakfast, snack or tea with friends!

Cook: 2 hours 20 minutes

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Flour – 300 g
  • Warm milk – 150 ml
  • Dry yeast – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Butter – 30 g
  • Sugar – 30 g
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon

For filling:

  • Smoked sausages
  • Milk sausages

Additionally:

  • Yolk (for greasing buns) – 1 pc.
  • Ketchup to taste
  • Mayonnaise – to taste

Directions

  1. Let’s make a quick dough. We send yeast, a couple of tablespoons of flour and a tablespoon of sugar to warm milk. Let the dough stand for a couple of minutes. This will test and activate the yeast.
  2. After that, combine flour, salt, remaining sugar, dough and egg in a cup.
  3. We knead the dough. When the dough is collected in a ball, add slightly melted butter and mix it into the dough.
  4. Then knead the dough on the table for 5-7 minutes.
  5. We put the dough into a cup, cover with a film and leave in a warm place until it doubles in volume.
  6. This is what yeast dough looks like after 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  7. After rising, knead the dough and divide it into 12 equal parts (I got 50 g each). Round off the blanks. Let the blank buns lie for 10 minutes under the film.
  8. We will have great filling! I’ll try two types of sausages.
  9. Cut large milk sausages across into three parts. We just clean the smoked sausages (I have them small).
    Now we cut one of the edges of each sausage to the middle in the form of a lattice.
  10. We divide each workpiece into 5 more parts (it will turn out to be 10 g) and round.
  11. Preparing a baking dish. I have a silicone cupcake mold with paper capsules. In each mold we steal 5 pieces of dough in the form of a flower.
  12. Insert sausages into the center of the “flowers”.
  13. Lubricate the flower buns with whipped yolk. Let the buns stand for 10 minutes, and in the meantime, preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
  14. Before baking, decorate the buns: using a pastry bag with a small hole, apply mayonnaise and ketchup around the sausages.
  15. We bake flower buns with sausages in the oven at 170 degrees for 20 minutes.
  16. The yeast buns with sausages are a success! Delicious and aromatic! Milk sausages are softer, and smoked sausages smell better! So next time I will also take two kinds of sausages!
