Yeast Dough with Pumpkin

Pumpkin yeast dough is great for making buns, pies and rolls with sweet and savory filling. The dough is airy, slightly moist, bright. You can make pumpkin buns out of it. Pies made from such dough are a great option for autumn holidays, for a children’s table.

Ingredients

  • Sour milk – 2/3 cup
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Butter – 50 grams
  • Yeast – 1 dessert spoon
  • Pumpkin – 100 grams
  • Flour – 2-2.5 cups
  • Sugar – 1-3 tablespoons
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Water – 50 ml

Directions

  1. Pour warm water into a deep bowl, add sugar (sweetener) and yeast. We leave the mixture for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Grind fresh pumpkin.
  3. Add a sour dairy product and a raw egg to the mass, mix the components.
  4. Add the chopped pumpkin and whisk lightly.
  5. Pour in the melted butter and add the sifted flour. Add salt.
  6. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  7. Leave the dough for 25-32 minutes.
