Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 lemon (s), untreated
  • 2 kg plum (s)
  • Sugar and cinnamon, for sprinkling
  • Fat, for the baking sheet

Instructions

  1. All ingredients must be at room temperature.
  2. Crumble the yeast in a mixing bowl. Add half of the warm milk and dissolve the yeast. Add half of the sifted flour and 2 tablespoons of sugar and knead a soft pre-dough with a hand mixer. Put the pre-dough in the 40 ° oven for 20 minutes.
  3. Then add the remaining milk, butter, sugar, egg, vanilla sugar, salt and grated lemon zest and mix together. Add the rest of the flour and finish the yeast dough. Remove the dough and let it relax for 5 minutes, then roll it out onto a greased tray and let it rise for another 20 minutes. Then carefully distribute the prunes, which have been pitted in the meantime, on the yeast dough. Bake in a preheated oven (fan oven 150 °) for 25 minutes. After baking, sprinkle the cake with sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Whipped cream goes well with it.
