Ingredients

  • 21 g yeast, fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ sugar
  • 250 g wheat flour, type 1050
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 125 g yourt, low-fat
  • 70 g walnuts, rouhly chopped

Instructions

  1. Crumble the yeast in a cup and mix with 100 ml of lukewarm water and the sugar. Cover and let rise for about 10 minutes.
  2. Put the flour, salt, baking powder and yogurt in a bowl. Add the yeast and knead everything with the dough hook of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Cover and let the dough rise for about 50 minutes. Knead in the chopped nuts and divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Shape into long rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  3. Brush the rolls with salted water and bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for 30-35 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
  4. Tip: You can also sprinkle the rolls with a few chopped nuts before baking!
