Ingredients

  • 1 liter milk, .5% fat
  • 125 g natural yourt
  • 10 chocolate bars (mini-bounty, chocolate-coconut bar)
  • 2 tablespoon milk powder
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Put the milk with the bounties and the milk powder in a saucepan and slowly bring to the boil while stirring. Remove from heat, cover and let cool down.
  2. The milk has a strong coconut flavor. If you prefer the yogurt a little sweeter, you can add some powdered sugar to the pot.
  3. Mix the natural yoghurt with a little milk in a bowl. Then add the rest of the bounty milk and mix well.
  4. Put everything in the yoghurt maker and let it ferment for about 9 hours.
  5. Then fill the yoghurt into 10 small jars with lids and let them cool and ripen in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  6. Tip: If you want to serve the yogurts as dessert, you can also cut the chocolate from the bounties and just dissolve the coconut filling in the milk. After the yogurt is ready and cool, you can melt the chocolate and pour it over the yogurt. This can either be served warm immediately or cold, with crispy chocolate.
