Yolochki Appetizer on Crackers, with Melted Cheese, Eggs and Herbs
by Editorial Staff
A beautiful New Year’s snack in the form of cute Christmas trees! A delicate mass of melted cheese, eggs, garlic and herbs is laid out on salted crackers. There are no difficulties in preparation, but such an appetizer on the festive table looks very solemn and will definitely attract the attention of your guests. “Fir-trees” are decorated with “toys” – kiwi pieces and pomegranate seeds.
Cook: 25 mins
Servings: 6
Ingredients
Round salted cracker – 8-10 pcs.
Processed cheese – 100 g
Egg – 1 pc.
Garlic – 1 clove
Fresh parsley – 15 g (3-4 sprigs)
Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
For decoration:
Pomegranate – 15-20 grains
Kiwi – 1/2 pc.
Directions
Prepare all the ingredients you need. Boil the egg hard-boiled (8-10 minutes after boiling water). Cool the egg in cold water.
Cut the melted cheese into large cubes. Peel the egg. Coarsely chop the egg and garlic.
Combine the egg, garlic, cream cheese, mayonnaise and parsley leaves in a blender bowl.
Grind all ingredients with a blender into a homogeneous paste. Thanks to the parsley, the pasta turned green. Add some salt to taste.
Transfer the pasty mass to a pastry bag with a curly nozzle or to a regular plastic bag with a cut corner.
Spread the mixture onto a cracker, forming an impromptu Christmas tree.
Prepare pomegranate seeds to decorate “Christmas trees”. Peel half of the kiwi and cut into small cubes.
Hang up “toys” – carefully decorate the appetizer with pomegranate seeds and kiwi slices.
The New Year’s “Yolochki” snack is ready! You can serve.
A bright and beautiful appetizer for the New Year’s table! Also very tasty! The pasty cheese filling is perfectly complemented by crunchy crackers, and the taste is completed with a slight sourness of pomegranate and kiwi.
Happy New Year!
